Dan Myerson

Executive Chairman and CEO

Mr. Myerson, previously head of Glencore’s Canadian zinc business, has vast global experience in the metals and mining sector; including refined metal and concentrates trading, mining and smelting operations, and capital markets. Before joining Glencore, Mr. Myerson worked for Morgan Stanley in their Equity Capital Markets team based out of Sydney, Australia. He holds a Master of Finance degree from the Queensland University of Technology.


James Steels

CFO

Mr. Steels is a corporate finance and capital markets professional in the metals and mining sector and specializes in valuations, risk management, financings, strategic initiatives, transaction structuring and equity investments. Mr. Steels was most recently a Metals & Mining Specialist in the Institutional Equity Group at Canaccord Genuity Inc. where he built strong relationships with the natural resource investment and corporate communities. He previously held executive positions at the Augusta Group and in equity research at Scotiabank Global Banking and Markets. Mr. Steels began his professional career at KPMG LLP. He is a Chartered Professional Accountant and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.


Roger March

Senior Geoscientist - McIlvenna Bay

Mr. March has almost 25 years of progressive exploration and project management experience, focused mainly on the design, implementation and supervision of advanced exploration programs. In his prior role as Senior Project Geologist at Cumberland Resources, Mr. March spent 11 years as part of the team responsible for the completion of prefeasibility and feasibility level studies for the Meadowbank Gold Project, including resource increases from 0.8 million to over 4 million ounces of gold. He has multi-commodity exploration experience and has held positions with Inco, Redfern Resources, Lac Minerals and the Newfoundland and Labrador Department of Mines and Energy.

Mr. March has extensive experience integrating exploration with geotechnical, metallurgical and environmental programs for project development, and is using this background to advance the exploration and development of the McIlvenna Bay Project.

Mr. March is a Professional Geoscientist with the PEGNL and holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) from Memorial University.


Mona Forster

Strategic Consultant

Ms. Forster provides strategic advisory services to Foran Mining, working closely with the executive team and board of directors in this capacity.  She has over 30 years’ experience in the mining industry, both domestic and international, at all stages of the mining life cycle.  She was Executive Vice President at Entrée Gold Inc. for 12 years, during which time she gained valuable experience working in multiple international jurisdictions and managing disparate project teams.

Ms. Forster holds an Executive MBA from Simon Fraser University, recently completed the Directors Education Program through Rotman School of Business, and sits as the Chair and interim President of Women in Mining BC.  She also serves as a director, advisor and committee member of several other industry related non-profit organizations.
